Insurance . . . Are You Covered?

A typical car accident with strains and sprains can easily cost $15,000 to $30,000 in medical bills alone. Even if you don’t have significant injuries a doctor may perform x-rays, MRIs or other testing and possibly refer you to get some physical therapy until you don’t have pain anymore. If you do have significant injuries, medical bills can easily reach $100,000 to $200,000 or more, especially if you require surgery for for something like broken bones or eye injuries. Health insurance may not cover all of the medical bills and will definitely not cover lost income, property damage, scar revisions, permanent injuries or pain and suffering (which could last years).

Did you know the majority of drivers on the road only have the minimum liability insurance limits required by law (i,e, $15,000 limit per person up to $30,000 per accident in AZ) or they have no insurance at all.

Uninsured and Underinsured (UM/UIM) motorist coverage protects you if you’re in an accident with an at-fault driver who doesn’t have enough liability insurance or doesn’t have insurance at all. Protect yourself and make sure you have sufficient insurance coverage if the unexpected occurs.
